Def balayage, maybe with some framing colour around the face. Will feel different and definitely summery! I only get mine done twice a year, could go longer

That scares me as I remember Sun in, in the 90s
I appreciate it maybe totally different now

I too remember sun-in! This isn't like that, my hair is still soft.

I have baby highlights which I love. Only go twice a year and I wouldn't say they are super noticeable when they grow out.

Either balayage, or I have peekaboo blonde in my hair, which looks similar to your daughters natural highlights in that all of the blonde is on an underneath layer of my hair. You can only see the roots if my hair is tied back, and so it’s a lot lower maintenance. I have that as I prefer quite chunky highlights and it’s a good way to do it without having stripy hair!

Do you guys Think it looks like she’s got natural highlights ?
I think it gets lighter if Summer then the winter regrowth kinda makes it look like it’s growing out anyway
thanks so much for all the advice and tips
guess if she doesn’t like to
it’s only hair and guessing she could toner over
