Alternatives to Dyson cordless vacuum (anyone else find them terrible?)

I have got through 3 Dyson cordless vacuums since about 2020 and they seem to be rubbish! They aways break just after the warranty expired. They ALWAYS get blocked, even though we just have a small home and normal requirements, no pet hair or anything, just the usual breakfast-time crumbs with a reception aged child and the like.

Is it widely known they are crap or am I missing something as I always thought they were supposed to be good! Has anyone else moved from Dyson to a different cordless vacuum they can recommend as better, and crucially doesn't get blocked every time it sucks up a crumb?

Henry Quick Cordless Stick Vac is epic! The suction on it is almost too powerful, I can’t use it in boost mode on my carpet as it’s too much, I have to use it on regular power. Best vacuum I’ve ever bought

We’re buying one of these as our dyson has broke, so good to know. Would never get another dyson

Miele all the way; we have a Henry as well but it's heavy. I will never give James Dyson a penny (Brexiteer who swiftly moved his whole operation out of the UK), but DMIL had a cordless one which had no suction and took about 12 hours to charge for 5 minutes of (underwhelming) hoovering. I think the whole brand is the most astonishing triumph of marketing over experience.

I was working at Dyson during Brexit. He made several speeches about how we MUST all vote leave, with an underlying threat that we may be fired if we didn't.

Then moves his company to Malaysia.

I cannot emphasise how much of a cock he is 🤣

I suffered a back injury and the Dyson cordless was the lightest one going. I love mine- it rarely gets blocked despite having hairy pets and I whiz round every morning with it.

I’ve recently bought the Henry cordless , got the pet version and it is brilliant

I had Dyson’s for years. Became a bit meh with them and went for a Dyson dupe (can’t recall brand but supposedly designed by Danish engineers and manufactured/shipped from Pakistan). Cost less than 1/6 of a decent Dyson and has been bloody miraculous, very impressed.

I find my cordless dyson ideal for quickie surface cleans but thats it. Had to buy a corded shark stick vac as the dyson wouldn't pick up dog hairs or clean deep. Wouldnt buy one again
