LOVED These as a Kid – Repeating Pattern Colouring Sheets from the Late ’70s"

Just as the title says.

These were white sheets with thin black lines, similar in style to today’s mindful colouring books—but with a key difference: they featured repeating patterns.

The patterns varied across the page, and part of the appeal was finding and picking out different ones within the same sheet.
You could interpret them in your own way, discovering multiple designs as you looked closer.
I absolutely loved them and haven’t been able to find anything quite like them since.

Anyone know?

This thread has made my day! Haven’t thought about these for decades but all the memories have come flooding back. Many hours spent with my sister colouring these 🥰

Does anyone remember Roll and colour from the 1980s? I had a disney mickey mouse and donald duck one.

It might of actually been called scroll and colour. it was like a plastic screen which you coloured on. then it could be rubbed out and turn the knobs to scroll to the next part of the picture to colour again.

Altar Design pads and Spirograph would both keep me entertained for hours!

They used to feature in the Sunday Times magazine. You could send your entry in to win a prize. Of course I was ALWAYS convinced my effort was a winner! Surprise surprise, it was not 😂

Oh I loved these! I’d completely forgotten about them, and the ones in a tube! Thank you for the lovely memories Smile

I loved these too, I recently went through the loft and found a load half finished from childhood. My DC are now busy colouring them in. I also had some that came with stickers, so geometric patters and sheets and sheets of stickers in geometric shapes that fitted in, but could be arranged how you like. They are loving them.
