Best way to find a good reputable therapist that specialises in OCD and trauma

I'm trying to find a private therapist for my teen dd. She has extreme OCD that has got worse whilst waiting for NHS treatment (she’s developed agoraphobia and now won’t engage with anyone else or leave the house).
We talked last night and she was so desperate to get help, we’ve agreed to look for a private therapist, I just don’t know where to start!
I’ve googled obviously, but it’s so hard to know which way to go. She has had some therapy over the years, as in counselling and some CBT exercises discussed with Occ Therapist that didn’t really work very well. I think she needs someone who specialises solely in OCD and trauma, as I think the trauma she experienced at secondary school has contributed to it getting worse.
Does anyone have any suggestions of where to look that may help!?

Are you in the UK? BACP website, but I think I’d also be looking for someone who specialised in adolescents. Identify a few, call or email and ask about their specialisms, talk about your DD’s needs. Would she prefer a male or female therapist, for instance? In person or online?

Thankyou for your reply. Yes we’re in the UK, I’ll have a look at the BACP website.

I would recommend finding someone registered with the ACP. They are psychotherapists trained to doctorate level to work with children and adolescents. They've had personal therapy as part of their training and are appropriately supervised. The NHS employ them.
