Emergency buffet ideas please

I have just realised that the family buffet next weekend is actually this afternoon. We had discussed dates and I had in my head it was next week but my sister has just messaged to ask what she can bring and DH (who is away with work and not due back til mid morning so won't have noticed the lack of buffet-able food in the house) has confirmed it.

I have few options shop wise - small Asda close by and I don't really have time to drive to the big Tesco miles away.

So I would love some easy, quick buffet ideas please?! Also need some gluten free options. Normally I would probably do pulled pork etc but I don't have time for that now and my mind has gone a blank this morning in my panic!

Kids I’ve effed up, no football /drama today we are off to Tesco. Job done

TBH, that is what I would have done.

I'd do Mexican. Just lots of different veg, different marinated and cooked meats, cheese, salsa, guacamole, totopos, tortillas etc.

@DancingDucksI’ce also been wondering how it went and what you made

This happened to me once and I just got a takeaway. Couple of pizzas, chips, mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, couple of portions of pakora. Would that work?

Too late for OP but just to warn people that pre roasted chicken can be a nightmare for gluten free, especially if it's one of those rotisserie places that also does breaded products. Always check. Also grazing boards are a no for GF unless you have one that is exclusively GF, not served on a previously glutened board and well away from anything else. You have to stop people from contaminating the food, for some reason a nice GF potato salad is like a magnet to people with their gluteny serving spoons from other things.
