I bought a block of tvarog cheese, first time using it, I think it is Polish?
Would love some ideas of how this cheese is used please.
I have googled, and am quite intrigued by the idea of sirniki, so may make those.
Any other suggestions please

Yes do make the pancakes out of it, my husband is Russian and he loves these. Look up recipes for farmers cheese for more ideas, its also a good base for sweet or savoury pierogi fillings.

I second Syrniki (small cottage cheese pancakes); I sometimes add sultanas to this mixture. I also quite like mixing tvorog with jam and eating for the breakfast. It's quite versatile, and generally not strong in flavour.

Oh, and I can recommend mixing it with honey, if you are a fan of the taste (many are not!)

You can use it to make cheesecake, look for a recipe with curd cheese.

You can crumble it, mix with 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt, chopped cucumbers and radishes, chives, salt & pepper, then eat with bread or crispbread

Oh yes, absolutely make syrniki. So bloody good.

Syrniki are amazing with a good blackcurrant sauce. In Kazakhstan they were my breakfast of choice with a pot of buckthorn tea.

Russian DH mixes it with sour cream and eats it as is, no idea how standard that is.

Can I also recommend kefir, if you want to make pancakes out of previously obscure EE ingredients? Very tasty.
