How to not lose hearing aids 🦻

I have managed to lose a hearing aid. It fell off my ear and I didn’t notice at the time and can’t find it.

I need some sort of attachment for them. Can anyone recommend such a thing? Obviously the less obtrusive the better but if they have to be visible I’m not too bothered.

Hi @ThermalScream
You could ask where you got your hearing aids for something called retention wires also known as ear hooks or retention clips.

These wires or clips are attached to small flexible wires usually made of durable material such as plastic or silicone that attaches to the hearing aids and loops around the back of the ears.
Their primary function is to keep the hearing aid from falling out or becoming dislodged while you're doing your daily activities.
Hopefully this will help!

On mine they sit within the curve of your earlobe.

When my DH first got his hearing aids, the left hearing aid kept falling out.
The Audiologist took the cast/ mould that was made from his left ear, and something he referred to as a 'Keeper 'was added to that part of the hearing aid that goes into the ear canal. and it has never fallen out since.
So @ThermalScream , that could be a possible option for you too.

Thank you so much all. I shall ask my audiologist if they can do any of these options.
