3 bra fittings and I've been told there is nothing that will fit. What now?!

I am still breastfeeding my 14 month od. Currently wearing a 30GG sports bra from Amazon , which has been surprisingly good! Weight is falling off me now and my band size is getting smaller. One of my boobs has shrunk quite a bit because DD feeds from one size. So now I'm left with two boobs completely different sizes that need support. I have a huge gap in my bra on one side and the other is spilling over. I can't find anywhere that does a band size small enough. Anything without an underwire and my bigger boob pops out underneath. I also have a short body and need fully adjustable straps.

I've tried m&s, John Lewis and Victoria's secret.

Please help. Im getting desperate!

Have you tried Bravissimo? Or Rigby and Pellar?

Bigearringsbigsmile · 21/05/2025 19:53

Bravissimo!!!!!

CelticPromise · 21/05/2025 19:53

Use Boob or Bust to fit yourself. Order a selection of bras from Brastop. Return what doesn't fit. I wear a similar size and I wouldn't bother with a fitting at any of those shops.

Bravissimo definitely

Danikm151 · 21/05/2025 19:54

have you tried bravissimo?

get a band small enough and cup big enough for the one boob then get some padding for the other boob so it fits/has some support?

Or a bralette sports bra? No actual cups but very tight and fitting

Blarn · 21/05/2025 19:58

Have you looked at single silicone inserts to balance the sizes out? But yes, Bravissimo and Brastop. Lots of small band, large cup sizes.

HowManyDucks · 21/05/2025 20:03

I have used bravissimo for many years, but I'm not exaggerating when I say my boobs are completely odd, size shape everything. Any bra I try just doesn't work, except for the wired sports bra which I've been wearing but now is riding up at the back. What kind of style should I look for on bravissimo. (I would say I am about an E on one side and a GG on the other. Band 28-30)

I would go on Bravissimo and explain this issue via their online customer help thing (like a messenger chat with an assistant, assuming they still do that). Or pop into one of their shops. You can’t be the first in this situation and I know they do Bras for women who have had mastectomies (which I realise is not the same but you see what I mean) so they will have suggestions I expect.

That's good advice, thank you! I will definitely try that. Tbh I think I might start saving for a breast reduction!

I would suggest the chicken fillet style bra inserts, I got some. After breastfeeding two children, my boobs were very uneven and these work well to even up the bra fit quite well.

Search amazon for silicone bra inserts and you will see what i mean.

At 55 I treated myself to a fitting at Rigby & Peller. Expensive, obviously, but totally worth it.
(FYI I’m wonky, size 42G & was made to feel totally not like a freak, my fitter was absolutely lovely)

Buggysleeper · 21/05/2025 20:13

You need a partial prosthesis. Have a look in your area for private prosthetic specialists. You would ideally need a fitting, as very difficult to guess what size you needs. Amoena or trulife are trusted companies. Could be expensive though. Good luck.

Try Molke - they claim to fit from a 26 underbust and up to M cup and have some that are a crossover style which you might be able
to use with a removable pad in one side?

TenInSport · 21/05/2025 21:18

I'd start by using Boob or Bust as advised above to measure yourself and then get yourself to Bravissimo to get fitted to your larger side. Once you have a bra that fits you well on your larger side the Evenly Bra Balancer is then what you need to balance the other side.

I reckon molke is a great shout.
