Did anyone like Micky Rourke on Celebrity Big Brother?

I must admit I’d never heard of him before the show. I think he was/is absolutely hilarious and I would love to see him on more reality TV. I think he will be reluctant to sign up though after being told to leave with no/half his pay.

i will say I’m not sure he knows what planet he’s living on judging by some of his social media posts, but I totally lost interest in the series once he’d gone though I did persevere and finish it

I am glad the majority actually found him funny. Hopefully he appears on more reality TV here. I’m only 30, wouldn’t have heard of him if he wasn’t on BB!

Didn't watch CBB at all. Rourke always struck me as a massive talent wasted, that wrestling film, amazing, but not much else along the way

I haven’t seen any of it! But I bet he was genuinely entertaining, he’s a real character. People should give over being so po faced about everything, it’s boring.

I loved him in 9 and a Half Weeks ( and for some reason, I have 2 copies of it on dvd..!) I found it really sad that he has ended up like that, a shell of his former self. Maybe much of it was of his own making, but it was distressing to see him like that. In a way I'm glad he was removed for his own sake, it was never going to give him the comeback he wanted.

If po faced means not laughing at a man who says he'll tie up a woman and change her sexuality, leer at the presenter and say he's going to come in a girl a quarter of his age then yeah, I'm po faced. If Andrew Tate is your thing then it's hilarious.

To be fair I don’t think he was ever going to make a comeback in terms of mainstream popularity, there’s too many woke people who would be offended. I think he was on masked singer at one point though.

It's not 'woke' to find homophobia and sexism incredibly unfunny and offensive. It's 2025, he's a dinosaur who should never have been given any screentime.

Oh yeah, I remember he claimed he had insomnia than slept on the small couch fully clothed. I wonder why he didn’t take a bed. V funny. Jack said something like “hes got insomnia but all he does is sleep!”
