Just that, really. If you’re routinely using AI (I’m thinking of the public-facing large language models - ChatGPT etc) for either work or life stuff, what are you using it for? Which products are you using? And do you think it’s an improvement?

Holiday itineraries;
Summarising walls of text in documents;
Rewriting my ‘angry’ email to my boss to make it less antagonistic so that I wouldn’t get sacked (that was very useful as I was seconds away from pressing ‘send’ when my coworker suggested chatGPT might save me 🤣);
Weekly low carb/high protein meal planning and shopping list (love this!)

So many things to be honest…it’s not replacing anything, simply time saving, as I could have done all of these things myself but they would have taken many more hours.

For those who want to avoid it on Chrome, just type -ai at the end of your search

I think you can also put “-ai” after your google search term to skip it.

I’ve used ChatGPT to write a couple of crappy fanfics out of curiosity 😂

it won’t write anything remotely xrated though which is slightly annoying

I’ve been told to use it for marking my students’ work

@MrsM2025 I tried this out of curiosity, but by the time I’d set it all up with mark schemes etc, copied the work over and so on, it saved no time, and had the distinct and major disadvantage of the fact I hadn’t actually read the work and so didn’t know what students had achieved, which is the main reason for marking. Utterly pointless.
