Dublin itinerary for a non drinker

Hi all, please could you give me some ideas of what to do in Dublin for a long weekend for first timers who don’t drink and won’t be going in to bars/pubs?

My DH is an alcoholic in recovery so we’re trying to stay away from the party life over there. Nice restaurants etc is fine, just not an ale trail 😂

thank you!

Dublin is lovely and there's lots to do even if you want to avoid the pub thing. Depending on what you like, there are lovely parks like Stephen's Green, Merrion Square and the Phoenix Park. There is Georgian architecture both Northside and Southside. National Museum has branches in Collins Barracks and on Kildare Street and there's the Art Gallery too. The grounds of Trinity College are gorgeous to walk around. The Book of Kells is there too (although I prefer the Long Room which is part of that tour). You could do the Viking Splash tour for some silly fun and a tour around the city centre. Or Vintage Tea bus tour if that's more your thing. Take the Dart south to Greystones along the coast or north to Howth.

Bewleys on Grafton Street is lovely. Avoca on Suffolk street (not sure if it has a cafe now) is good for homeware bits but the cafe used to be good...
For things to do, Stephens Green, Dublin castle and Kilmainham Goal are pretty decent starts. Book of Kells at Trinity College, Phoenix park, soaking up the vibe at Grafton Street etc.
Which bit of Dublin are you in and do you have time/ ability to drive slightly north/ south? As that would open up opportunities to visit the prehistoric structure of new grange or the hill of Tara (in Meath), or south and you can do around BlackRock which is nice and cafe culture-esque. A bit further out, south, and there's Powerscourt...
Also, there's some pretty beaches at Malahide (north)...
