How do the no photo parents manage others taking photos?

I know some parents don't allow pictures of their child with others or on social media etc. It's not a concern of mine and I allow photos.

I was however surprised at baby groups that parents took photos of their child with mine/others without asking.

How did the no photos parents manage that? Any issues?

What about when going to parties, do you tell everyone not to take photos or how does it work? Do you also not take photos of your child with others?

I would never take photos of random children with my children. I mean like unless we’re at a playground and one runs through the background or something. That can’t be helped.

I have a personal policy that I never post any photos of other people’s children on my private social media without their parents’ permission. Generally though, I just don’t post any photos of other children. I’d take a group photo with friends for the memories and a separate one with only my dc if I want it on social media. I don’t necessarily mind if people post pictures of my children, as long as they aren’t identifiable by name or area where we live.

I have family who are NC and try to stalk my dc. Obviously, they aren’t on my friend, Jen’s, private Facebook page so that’s fine. I wouldn’t want my child’s photo in the paper with her name and the village we live in though.
