What if any supplements help with psychological exhaustion?

I need to find something. Yet again I’m experiencing severe exhaustion and physical
symptoms due to over exerting myself mentally. I literally can’t function. Today was day 3 of being unable to get out of bed, even lifting a glass of water or my phone causes more exhaustion as if they weigh a ton. It’s not physical I’ve had so many tests it’s due to psychological fatigue.

I already take an omega supplement and I have weekly therapy but I just cannot manage normal day to day things.

Is there any type of supplement or similar that gives a natural
boost? I don’t want to start on energy drinks but seriously thinking would even they benefit me as I’m so exhausted

Good quality B vitamin. Or just B5.

Zinc. There is Zincataste in oral form if you prefer. If it tastes metallic then you are low in zinc. If it tastes normal then you aren't.

I tend to not have high doses or take them all the time - just if stressed or tired they have been useful - so check the packets.

Mainly what's been helpful has been increasing my protein intake so my ferritin stores are really good.

Also do you have sufficient calorie intake every day? I used to (unbeknown to me) undereat a lot as I didn't know what my TDEE was.

If it’s a psychological symptom then I’d be tempted to look for emotional / mental solutions rather than physical supplements.

The obvious ones for resting / soothing your mind are sleep and meditation. There are a huge range of mindful activities; colouring, jigsaws, crochet, gardening. You could try yoga - yin or restorative are particularly nourishing. Sound baths are wonderful. Or massage?

what is it that you are doing to over exert yourself mentally?

Vitamin D lifts me. If you were going outside, you wouldn't need it at this time of year. Since you're presumably staying indoors, you should take it as a supplement. (And don't forget people in the UK should take a Vitamin D supplement from October to March.)

I echo a PP - a good all round B vitamins supplement sounds like a great starting point. And some magnesium may also help.

On Monday I had an appointment and then I had 2 unexpected phone calls. On Tuesday I had a lot of admin to do and bumped into someone I know who just kept talking and talking and I was struggling with the conversation (I literally forget words or say the wrong ones or can’t respond at all) and I went home and had what I think was a panic attack then I was just exhausted and keep getting dizzy and falling asleep

I’ll try that as I often have days and days where I don’t go out at all
