Why is this happening- iphone and Dh’s phone?

When my dh searches using his iPhone, in his cache/ recent searches he can see literally ALL of my searches. The same does not happen in reverse (I can’t see his)
today he was setting up a new work phone and needed to access an email sent to my gmail. He typed my username and password into a word document on his laptop and then went to gmail in the browser and it opened in MY gmail account without him even needing a password. I have never accessed my gmail on his phone or work laptop!

Now, we are very honest and trusting and have no secrets. I know he wouldn’t read my emails or check my searches intentionally however I don’t like the idea that my privacy is being “invaded” without my knowledge, and it’s clearly something to do with the two iPhones - and in the wrong circumstances that could be catastrophic for someone (imagine DV situation researching escape or similar)

any ideas what settings I must have enabled here to allow this to happen?

My phone does this on my work laptop when I use safari but not chrome. I can’t work out how to stop it so just can’t use safari anymore 😔

This is cyber stalking and is a crime if you have not consented to this. You can contact the cyber helpline who can help you secure your devices so he can't do this. I'd do it and see how he responds. If he's not happy about it then he's likely using it to see what you're doing.

It really isn’t.

Have you got a gmail account? If so that can show your google history as it’s linked to gmail? My son has a Samsung tablet and it’s linked to my gmail account, and I found out by accident it shows all my google history on his tablet. Could be that?

My contact list and occasionally photos end up on DH's android phone. Really weird. Luckily not a problem for us, but I agree that it could be dangerous to have random sharing of information between devices in more volatile relationships.

Is it maybe his Apple ID? I had access to my kids phones as their numbers were listed under mine. Just had to hit edit and delete.

For it to be a crime there needs to be intent for him to stalk.
roght now she has no evidence this is case- it could be simple error in terms of settings when genuinely sharing devices. He may not be tech savvy enough (no evidence on this either way given to us) to know this is even something that shouldn’t be happening - thinks it’s “normal”

good advice to op on way forward from other posters,
Sure if she finds, with tech support, somethings been put on her phone deliberately with intent, then that’s the stage to report

Randomly my work laptop started showing my search history from my phone and I was signed into my gmail account. I don’t access my personal emails from my work computer ever…so no idea when I signed into my account on my laptop but must have done 🤷‍♀️

We are all apple devices here. My 3 all share log ibs plus Apple TV, but hubby’s quite often logs out of his profile and to mine. I suspect it’s because to log into Apple TV it’s my log in, and the box can ‘read’ that his mobile is in the room….

plus we have family sharing turned on the mobiles and find my device set up…
