This was shocking and upsetting to watch.
Among our own armed forces in Afghanistan and Iraq there were soldiers systematically carrying out war crimes with impunity with their deeds ignored or covered up at high levels. It went beyond involving a few rogue actors.

Here is a news report about the documentary.

I think "alleged" is the key word here. These are elite soldiers operating in a warzone, doing a job few of us could imagine. There'll be much more to this than meets the eye and they shouldn't be judged by a TV crew.

I think you may not have seen this as it was not a TV crew alleging this, but other people reporting their experiences.

It is surprising to me that more people have not responded. For example on the Conflict in the Middle East board a major aspect of concern when it occurs is soldiers stepping over the line from defence into murder.
Maybe ‘Chat’ is not the right place.

The execution of children who had been handcuffed prior to being shot is beyond belief.
As is the information that the SAS vetoed the Afghan Special Forces being taken out of Afghanistan when the Americans left so that they could not testify against the SAS.

I caught some of it and I’m not at all surprised or even shocked by what they’ve done.
It’s been on the news/ topical radio shows over the past few days.

Both those reports are particularly concerning and shameful. Maybe it is silly to be surprised. We always want to think our own are better than others but this is the end of that illusion.
