Which Center Parcs Do You Rate The Most?

We love Center Parcs, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but we can't go abroad due to some health difficulties and we all (Family of 5) have loved Longleat Center Parcs. We're going to Cornwall this year for something different but planning to return to Center Parcs next year. We're having a discussion about whether to try a different one but it's a bit like when you choose a different dish from your favourite takeaway... will it be as good? 😂🙈 I know they're much the same in essence but which site do you rate the highest?
We love the swimming particularly the rapids so wouldn't want to go to one where the rapids arent as good as Longleat

Great thread! We're just back from our first CP trip at Longford & absolutely loved it...Can I ask pl to elaborate about why each CP is their favourite?

Longleat has the best rapids, no others compare. I definitely rate Longleat as the best Centre Parcs.

The Waterside lodges at Elveden are incredible (I was lucky enough to go for my birthday with the family).

The French one to the left of Paris. The best centerparcs swimming pool we've ever been in. multiple outdoor pools and slides.

Although now I'm trying to remember if they had rapids - and I'm not totally sure!

TBH, I don't have a favourite park (tried ones in UK, France, and Ireland) - although Longleat with the hills wasn't great.. the French ones are flatter :)

Longleat is the best. Woburn is flatter and everything is closer, but still doesn’t beat longleat. The Paris one is ok but doesn’t have all of the activities we have there.

Oooh we were considering the CP in France. Is it worth the travel? And was there much to do outside the park locally?

There's a few - we've been to most of them. The only one I won't go to again is the relatively new one that's all the way south - the drive was just too long. The rest are all good, and depending on the ferries, we've either taken a couple of days on the drive and visited something on the way, or just hammered it direct.

For example, we did Mont San-Michel, The Bayeaux Tapestry, Puy du Fou, or just picked a city and wandered around.

I normally get ferry and park for less than the cost of just the park in the UK.

I think the shop is better in the French parks, the restaurant offering is variable, the weather is normally a bit better, but they don't have the big indoor badminton courts for example, but the spa is good, and my kids like spending most of the time at the pool anyway
