What character annoys you most in the Agatha Christie books?

Mine has to be Ariadne Oliver, I switch off completely when she appears and I keep reading the same lines over and over again!

Curtain was such a huge let down. I know Christie didn't love Poirot but he deserved better.

I have never read or watched Curtain. I've never watched the last episode of Morse, either.

I really liked Curtain. I thought it was such a bleak, elegant examination of murder and psychopathy and grief. Some bugger totally ruined the spoiler for me, though. In the same vein as And Then There Were None.

The BBC adaptation with David Suchet is really good.

Roger Ackroyd was spoiled for me, but luckily I didn't mind because I rarely bother to guess the murderer. It's one of my favourites.
