Mother in laws hating children’s names

I have three children, Beatrice, Margot and Rafferty and I love their names, and so does my husband. My mother in law however has been making snark comments about the kids names for years, obviously not to the kids faces. Does anyone else have this issue?

This is a perfect response, im now quite excited for her to come round, for once

DH wasn't that proactive in our choice of names, so I gave him a list of choices. I was absolutely delighted when he choose my first choice for girls names, without realising it was the one I really wanted. MIL eventually came around, who I dearly loved, when she said 'it was OK now she'd got used to it. DD is now 25 and seems to be happy with her name, not happy with other options I came up with.
