Hi I’m currently training in biodynamic massage which employs a range of techniques and touch but is predominantly very gentle. I am wondering if there is a wider market for it or whether everyone just wants a more invasive sports massage and the like.
Biodynamic massage can be used as part of body psychotherapy or as a complementary therapy. It works to balance and harmonise, help clients become more at home in their body, feel cared for and met but also release holding patterns and emotional stress by helping the client digest incomplete emotional and developmental experiences. This can of course include trauma but it is more than that as it works to support a more holistic sense of well-being and authenticity and ease.
Is this something you personally feel you would be interested in experiencing or would this description put you off? For example it sounds too ‘woo’?
