How long for chest tightness to go away after Anxiety/Panic Attack (months on)

A relative was having repeated anxiety/panic attacks daily together with severe heartburn/indigestion in the month of December. It lasted for around 4 weeks into the new year, until they had several doctors appointments, different medications and calmed down their anxiety.

Months on they are better now but still experiencing chest tightness. The week before last had a panic attack one evening but got it under control, then had "chest coldness" for days after.
With the chest tightness they say its a dull "ache" or "tightness" that is just there all of the time, from a quick google it seems to be muscle tension (?) how long does this take to go away?

ps our Local Doctors are incredibly difficult to get an appointment and just point them in the direction of Counsellors.

Counselling might not be a bad thing if they haven't yet dealt with the root cause of their anxiety. The chest tightness, for me anyway, was a physical manifestation of anxiety. It's the flight part of fight or flight that's in overdrive. For me, it went away when I started medication for the anxiety.

I have fibromyalgia and get chest pain ( several ECGs show nothing amiss)
It’s like the muscles clamping up and is known as costochondritis. It’s the worst of the fibro pain.

Heat helps. I make two hot water bottles, one against my chest, one against my back as I lean against cushions or pillows.
Also hemp cream. Lots online, Kind is a good make.
