Going back to looking for a job, what to do?

Last year, I ended up getting two separate job with days/weeks both in some one way or the other were the wrong fit too, so maybe that's why it was so quick.

Anywho. I've been made redundant and I have enough money to not have to start until the summer ends.

Before, I basically took whatever paid enough and ASAP we're now in a much better financial situation, which is why it can wait.

The one thing I have against me is that I need a fully remote job, and most interesting ones are always hybrid within London. My DH is happy for me to go for those as long as they're proper "dream jobs"

So would you wait to even look for a job (so the timing works) or just get on with it and start applying?.

The job market is pretty dire right now and inevitably gets quiet over the summer anyway as so many office staff are away. Take a few weeks off then get your CV / Linkedin sorted. I'd go for an earlier light touch job search for a few weeks and see what's out there - your sector might be in a better state than mine. I would not advise waiting until the end of August tbh.

Yeah, I've signed up with a charity and have some counselling too, as I think I always become bored/unhappy after some time, but don't know why.

I'm starting to polish my CV and my LinkedIn too! (I'll wait for the green banner until I'm completely and officially unemployed).

Take some time off though. Even if it’s just a week.
Don’t feel guilty about that. You’ll need your energy for the job search.

It depends what kind of job / level of seniority, but I would say finding ‘the right job’ can take time - and given notice periods are often three months now, you could still have the summer off.

Yes, agreed. I had the right company (not job) not that long ago, but that still didn't save me from moving on.
