Good Morning Everyone! What are you all up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. The cats have been fed & boy cat's gone back to bed. Girl cat is in the living room window ekekek-ing at birds 🤣, her favourite pastime. Dd2's gone back to sleep after I raided her room for her uniform to wash & made her grumpy bad mum. Dd1 needs to be up to get ready for work but hasn't moved so far.

The washer's on already & I've had a tidy round. Just a few pots to wash up from last night, once I've drunk my cuppa and taken my tablets.

I'm off into town in a little while for a few things. Dd2 might come with me but I think she could do with staying here really, she's been complaining on and off that one of her legs is hurting, so I think probably best to rest it & do her homework/tidy her room for this week instead.

When I get in, I may go for a nap for an hour, then carry on painting a set of peg dolls for display at work. I was doing them over half term but wasn't well so I'm a bit behind with this half terms sets.

We're having leftover Chinese for tea, then I'll shower & probably doom scroll for an hour before bed 💤.

Hello Im new here and love this thread
Im operating the spoons system as Ive been living with cancer for 6 years. My husband is away this weekend.
Ive had a brekkie of apple juice and cheese on toast.
In a bit Im going to tidy the bedroom, maybe do some laundry.
Later Im meeting my friend for dinner and a glass of wine.
Before that Ill have a snooze
Been chatting to my friend on whattsapp and called my mum who was watching the funeral. We are RC but I just join in on the community stuff.
I also will sort out my handbag and make up shelf.
Husband can mow the lawn next week and we need our garden cleared and he isnt a completer finisher so may find some companies today

Good Morning. I did a parkrun and managed to knock 15seconds of my personal best. Dp knocked off 30. We've signed up for 10k race in September.
Ds1 is revising and Ds2 has gone to the local park with his friends.
I've put two loads of washing out on the line as it's lovely here (suffolk). This afternoon I'm heading to London with a friend to see ABBA Voyage, im so excited.

Up at 5am and went downstairs to the loo and then to watch tv for hours while half heartedly trying to go back to sleep!

house us clean a pity, DH at work, DD baking after making me some brekkie, DS still asleep.

just showered and off to Aldi and to see some family

Belated morning all. Been a slightly rubbish start to the day, unfortunately. Nothing drastic but we all seem to be quite ratty this morning after a tricky week so there's been a fair few snaps and nips! DH & DS have gone to the dump and hopefully we can reset a bit. Not too much planned for later - various chores etc. We have a shoulder of lamb slow roasting which should be delicious and hopefully we can all perk up to enjoy it!

@Bbq1 my best ones are on display & I forgot to photograph them. I've attached some previously painted ones 🎨🖌. Zog is my favourite (just the dragon - not Princess Pearl or Sir Gadabout!).

Walked ten miles with a friend in some surprising sunshine this morning then chilled all afternoon. Was invited to a party this evening but cba to dress up (it’s themed) and it’s not a friend’s party (friend of a friend) so not feeling too guilt ridden about it.

Afternoon I’m very late today as my dad is in hospital so it’s been a bit of a whirlwind this week . We have been at the hospital all day just bak now . I’m now goin to get in the bath and pour a very large wine . Lucysmam you’re very clever they are amazing . Hope everyone has a lovely evening
