Social services for disabled parents

If a parent is unable to raise a child because of their disability or mental health do social services have to give support to that parent like carers to keep the child, does that parent have rights or will they put that child in care

It depends. What extra care does the parent need above their own care as an individual to be a good enough parent?

Social Services doesn't have to provide a 24/7 nanny service to keep a child with its biological parent.

As previously stated what kind of support is needed? I've known someone get additional support on top of their 24/7 care package to manage a young child, with two staff in the morning to manage the little one while they has personal care for safety reasons.

A TV programme I saw showed a disabled mum with triplets under 3 years old having a nanny a few days a week while dad worked.

What do you need & what would you like provided in an ideal world?

It completely depends on the situation and what is safest for the child and parent
