The weekend, blinding lights - an excellent song.
This is a vast improvement to the previous song which randomly was the tots tv theme tune and driving me bonkers.
I hadn’t heard it for years but a toddler had it blaring out of an iPad in a cafe, the parents were obviously feeling nostalgic.
I bet I’m not the only person who walked out of there with it wedged in their brain.
I used to randomly start humming or singing “come on Eileen” at work or in busy public places, I found it amusing when other people would start doing the same as though it was contagious 😂.
It wasn’t just “come on Eileen” but my boss begged me to stop at work because most of the office would end up singing it.
Poor Eileen, I bet she wasn’t a fan of all these men wanting to come on her, that song has some pretty creepy lyrics. These include commenting on how much she’s grown, mentioning dirty thoughts about her in “that dress” and then love bombing her!
