I'll burn the clothes...it's only leggings and a vest. Last thing I ate was a piece of onion and onions are in lots of dishes so it would be a pain to become allergic.

Trallers · 23/04/2025 15:22

I cannot think of any clothes I wouldn't happily burn to avoid becoming allergic to a food item, especially a food I was eating recently!

MadameSzyszkoBohusz · 23/04/2025 15:22

Clothes - I’m not that by the last outfit I had on, whereas I last ate cheese. Can’t live without cheese.

neverknowinglyunreasonable · 23/04/2025 15:23

Burn baby burn

SummerHouse · 23/04/2025 15:25

Hand me the matches.

As unlikely as it might be I am not living with a KitKat allergy.

ErrolTheDragon · 23/04/2025 15:27

Burn the clothes, obviously - I’ve got other clothes and can buy more. There’s very few foods I eat that I’d be happy to never eat again.

huuskymam · 23/04/2025 15:29

Burn the clothes, it's jeans and a jumper. The last thing I ate was liver and onions euro chips. I love liver

Evolutionarygoals · 23/04/2025 15:30

Normally I'd happily burn the clothes. However, I really like this top and I've just finished some Mexican marzipan which was not marzipan as I know it. So I'll happily never have that again in order to keep the top. Unless I'd be allergic to all marzipan, in which case pass me the lighter fluid

QwestSprout · 23/04/2025 15:31

Finding clothes that I like is an eternal exercise in frustration, and I already have several food allergies/things I can't eat for medical reasons. I'll take the food, it was only a Hi-Chew (and hopefully just that particular flavour that gains the allergy tag).

IAmNeverThePerson · 23/04/2025 15:32

Not having a cheese allergy. And besides i live in my current outfit so I have several of them.

AltitudeCheck · 23/04/2025 15:35

Allergic to chocolate (specifically an entire Aero Easter egg accidentally scoffed in under 10 mins on a dull Teams call) would probably be a blessing in disguise!!

Somuchfree · 23/04/2025 15:38

I just ate some mini eggs one of my pupils gave me for Easter, and honestly I could happily live without them, so allergy it is!

canthavethatonethen · 23/04/2025 15:40

The last thing I ate was some Terry's Chocolate Orange.

No brainer😂

FranksInvisibleLlama · 23/04/2025 15:51

I can live without skittles, but they were really comfy pyjamas, so I would choose be allergic to skittles.

Lamelie · 23/04/2025 16:02

Im wearing a Paul Smith mohair jumper and some very flattering Chloë cords. Presents and eBay, to replace them would cost £500+ so I’d forsake dates.

CoastalCalm · 23/04/2025 16:03

Allergy to mint toffees

Allmarbleslost · 23/04/2025 16:05

Hmmm. Would I just be allergic to ready salted crisps, or all crisps?

PeriMoan · 23/04/2025 16:07

I've just finished a slice of banoffee pie, whereas I live in Tshirts, hoodies and either leggings or jeans. I wore leggings yesterday and currently wearing a pair today, so I'd happily choose to burn those clothes over banoffee pie. I struggle to find jeans that fit me well, though, so it would have been a much tougher decision if I had my favourite jeans on.

Haveapotato · 23/04/2025 16:10

Just eaten an apple and could live without them Equally I am currently in a cheap top from TK Maxx and a pair of joggers from H&M and I don't massively love either of those. So I'm torn! On balance I think I'd burn the clothes as the apples seems like a longer term decision and I do like apple crumble a lot.

OllysArmyRidesAgain · 23/04/2025 16:11

Just ate some Galaxy. If I were allergic to chocolate, I might conquer my weight loss faster. I'll keep my comfy trackies and smart office top thank you (lots of online meetings today)

Andoutcomethewolves · 23/04/2025 16:14

Burn the clothes for sure. I'm in a really basic 'office uniform' of plain trousers and a long sleeve top that wouldn't be remotely missed, whereas I just ate a lovely fruit salad and would be gutted to give up any of blueberries, grapes, kiwi and melon individually let alone all four!

WhatNoRaisins · 23/04/2025 16:17

I'd rather burn my entire wardrobe before becoming allergic to creme eggs.

winnieanddaisy · 23/04/2025 16:21

I wore new jeans and a new t shirt today so won’t be burning them . I won’t mind being allergic to grapes 😀

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 23/04/2025 16:21

Allergic, just ate some sweets I really didn’t need or particularly like but due on and fancied them. Would be happy if I become allergic to unhealthy rubbish.

hairyunicorn · 23/04/2025 16:24

Burn baby, burn :)
Happy to donate my Vitnted buys for the flames if it means I get to keep my crispy pork, jasmine rice and Bok choy. yum!
