I have finally…after 6 attempts…have passed my driving test! Thank bloody god!!

Congratulations to you (and the others who passed after many attempts)! Well done for persevering and I hope you find (as I did) that driving on your own is completely different and much easier!

Congratulations! I’ve got my fourth attempt in August.

One stupid mistake of not checking my mirrors when moving back over after passing a line of parked cars did it for me last time.

Had the strangest examiner though, to the point that he made me feel uncomfortable. He told me all about his impending divorce, his living arrangements, selling his house and how much his soon to be ex wife would be getting from it, his ongoing problems with getting a mortgage for his own place, starting over after 17 years of marriage, how much his Dad’s house is worth and he won’t be getting any inheritance but he doesn’t care…I didn’t engage but he just kept talking and it was distracting, I wish I’d told him to be quiet.
It wasn't small talk and my instructor was appalled when I told him afterwards and I have put in a complaint about him.

Oh well done! It’s so exciting, I passed my test almost a year ago at the grand old age of 33 and it has been absolutely life changing! Congratulations!!!

Best of luck! I’ve had my fair share of weird examiners, the one who passed me was just amazing, it was like having a lovely uncle in the car and almost like I was giving him a lift home. For the first and only time I relaxed…and passed 🥰🙌

Welldone! I've just turned 44 and I've got my 2nd test coming up very soon. Failed my first last month 🙈
