Daily periods in perimenopause

Is this a thing? It's driving me mad.

Cycle has been shorter over the last year or so but then I missed two periods earlier this year. Then it came last week and lasted around a week. It then looked like it was stopping but for the last 3-4 days I've had a crampy feeling around mid-morning and then a bit of blood - now enough to soak a pad even. Then it goes, only to repeat the next day. It honestly feels like a light, short period, but every day!

Anyone else had this? Should I see GP (will be weeks before I get an appointment)?

Yes, go to the doctor. Make the appointment amd keep a record in the interim.

Sounds familiar. When i averaged it out, I was bleeding half the month over a year. It turned out I had a lot of small fibroids so ended up with a hysterectomy earlier this year. The estrogen hrt I'd started was "feeding" the fibroids (and it turns out, quite a lot of endometriosis which was removed at the same time) but given the choice, I wasn't giving up my patches! Definitely go see your gp. At a minimum, any change in your bleeding pattern should get checked out.

Perimenopause is just the gift that keeps on giving, isn't it!?🙄
I had an 8mth gap then came on 3 times in a month! Can't wait to see what happens next!😒

I ended up anaemia and flooding. Hrt sorted it, then a Mirena.

Yes, def push for a GP appointment. I bled nearly every day for 90 days before finally getting to the GP. HRT patches have sorted my cycle, though it took over 6 months.
