What have your 15 year olds done over Easter?

DC is 15 and year 10. Spent a week at their dad's in a nice touristy place and came home last weekend. Had a sleepover with a friend Monday/Tuesday, had a day out with my mum Wednesday. Chilled out since then. They are now moping round the house "bored". I haven't planned anything for this weekend as I've had an incredibly busy few months and have been hanging on for these 4 days of downtime. I think they've done plenty! But that mum guilt kicks in..

Realistically they are not interested in Easter activities, a lot of friends are on holiday, the weather is crap.. trying to resist the urge to book bowling or something just for the sake of it.

We go on holiday in a few weeks and again in July so plenty to look forward to.

What have your teens done?

Mine has turned the garden into some sort of bike grave yard. He’s ‘fixing’ bikes and there’s bike bits all over the place.
We’re Easter Egg hunting tomorrow followed by a family BBQ (in the rain, probably).
Not overally bothered if kids say they’re bored - I say, tough, find something to do and stop mithering me.

Fixed his bike and helped with a DIY project, tidied his room and helped hang and sort the washing backlog.

Mine went to a concert with me and dd1 (not a big or expensive artist), went to the theatre to see a production of Dracula (booked in December), went to the cinema to see Six, and spent a day at her friend's house. I wasn't well the second week of the holidays or we'd have maybe gone out for lunch with dd1 as well since they only had one week off together.

Her friend's coming here for the day on Monday.

She's also cleaned out her room after the house was re-wired & done plenty of school work as well.

Most days have consisted of revising (year 11), walking the dogs, going for a run and a lot of gaming. She has also been to the cinema and theatre. Our son is also home from uni and they’re both sleeping in late and then are up til the early hours often making food, watching tv and chatting. Oh to be students again!

I think I'm only feeling a bit guilty because she's done stuff with other people but nothing with me, but not guilty enough to endure bowling on a bank holiday weekend 😂
