Left for me

Right.
Their garden isnt as steep, also it would mean that the crazy, angry, old twat who currently lives there would be gone!

Deadringer · 18/04/2025 14:15

Mine is better than the next one right or left, but about 20 houses down on the right is fab, so that one for me please.

Bluevelvetsofa · 18/04/2025 14:47

There isn’t a house on the left and the one on the right is exactly the same as ours, except we’ve upgraded, so I’ll stay here.

Left as its end of terrace

Same with a gate to the garden

fussychica · 18/04/2025 15:50

Neither, house on right is semi and a house not a bungalow and to the left there's no house as we're on the corner.

Cornishclio · 18/04/2025 15:53

Neither. Right is smaller and not as nice as ours and we are on a corner so the left side would be on the road. Behind us hasn't had any money spent on it for years whereas ours has had new kitchen and bathrooms.

MrsMoastyToasty · 18/04/2025 15:59

Either side has it's plus points. The onebon the right has an immaculate garden and is "up together ". The one on the left has a massive kitchen extension and a slightly more manageable garden.
I wouldn't move behind my house. I'd be in the local secondary school.

Harrysmummy246 · 18/04/2025 16:00

Well I'd be in the river or in a light industrial unit so, nope

PrincessHoneysuckle · 18/04/2025 16:06

Neither

BlooomUnleashed · 18/04/2025 16:06

If you absolutely forced me, left.

But I really don’t want to move out of my own. Ever.

And not just cos I couldn’t face all the packing !

I plan on leaving this house in my coffin. Never stayed in one house/flat for more than a couple of years since birth. But the minute I saw this on the internet 20 years ago I knew I’d found “the one”.

tinyspiny · 18/04/2025 16:25

Neither , mine is nicer .

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 18/04/2025 16:25

Standing outside looking at the house or in the door way looking out?

looking at our house, it would have to be left as if we went right we’d be in a river 😂.

Summertimeblahness · 18/04/2025 16:28

Nothing either side but the left side garden is probably a bit prettier than the right at the moment because all of the daffodils and crocuses are out. The back is bigger though… hmmm.

gottakeeponmoving · 18/04/2025 16:31

Neither, my house is the nicest. But I would move across the road because they have gardens 3x bigger than our side.

Ddakji · 18/04/2025 16:33

Facing the house? Right, because it’s an end of terrace. But also split into flats.

OllysArmyRidesAgain · 18/04/2025 16:47

We live on a 1990s estate, our street is all 4 bed detached and ours is the best floor plan, we may have been here for over 25 years but I still remember deciding which we preferred then having to wait for one to come up for sale.

Looking at my house from the street, to the right is the same floor plan but no frontage and the decor, kitchen and bathrooms have not been upgraded. To the left is a different floor plan and the house was fully upgraded before they moved in about 5 years ago and they have a lovely extension across the back, but no garden. So I think I’ll stay here.

There is one house nearby that has a reasonable plot, rear extension and a loft conversion which may be tempting.

Jennalong · 18/04/2025 16:50

I can only say left as we are a cul de sac of detached houses and nothing to the right of us . In reality wouldn't be keen as their neighbours are not so nice .

PatsFruitCake · 18/04/2025 16:56

Right as there is no house on the left but ideally opposite - big house with huge garden and its own woodland.

DilemmaDelilah · 18/04/2025 17:26

We don't have anything on the left apart from a bramble patch (not ours). The house on the right is 3 bed 1 bath 1 reception, tiny kitchen un-improved - we are 4 bed 3 bath, 2 reception, fabulous big kitchen, new double glazing etc. so I definitely don't want to move there!

NoiseDrama · 18/04/2025 17:33

Right, because then the noisy twats wouldn’t be living there anymore

WhatMe123 · 18/04/2025 17:37

Left for me
