facelift late 40s/early 50s?

Has anyone had one ? Specifically a deep plane ? (I’ve heard this is the best type?)

I don’t want to start with Botox and fillers and have been looking at facelifts and eyelid surgery (or are eyelids done as part of the facelift?)
Is late 40s to early 50s the right sort of time?
Is recovery really painful ?

There is nothing wrong with the way you look, use the money for therapy instead.

I already have regular therapy. It’s not helping the lines and hooded eyes though !

Recently met someone through a common friend who had a deep plane facelift and necklift and her eyelids done. She said eyelids were seperate from the facelift. Pain and recovery wise the first few days was painful but she recovered quickly. She is chuffed with the results as it got rid of all the sagging and loose skin.

My friend had a full face-lift when she was 52 but the results generally only last about 10 years, so when she was early 60s she was almost back where she started.
