Invisalign - can it move teeth up back into gum?

I’m half way through my Invisalign but I feel like one of my teeth hasn’t moved, it needs to move upwards it’s much lower (upper teeth) than the other teeth, how accurate is the 3d image scan, has anyone had a tooth lower than the others that their dentist could encourage upwards ?

Yes I believe Invisalign can do that. How often are you having appointments? They should be checking to make sure it’s all tracking as it should be. It might be that that tooth isn’t due to move yet. I had Invisalign for 6 months and some teeth didn’t move until near the end.

Fixed train track braces do this subtle type of movements much better , occaisionally a little bit of refinement needs to be done with fixed braces as Invisalign is somewhat limited with what it can achieve.

The clinicheck is not an absolute guarantee of how your teeth will be at the end of the, hence sometimes needing more aligners than predicted as teeth and mouths don’t always react the way a computer model predicts.

I had a tooth that moved lower during treatment and my orthodontist just adjusted things so it brought it back up. However, some teeth are much harder to move than others and it's not an exact science, so just make sure your expectations allow for it not being completely perfect.
