Terrified of earning money!

Mad I know. I’m a freelancer and I’ve somehow got massive mental blocks about advertising to get more work. I even have trouble sending invoices for work I have done.
something to do with a belief that I’ll make people disappointed or angry. Or that they’ll hate my stuff (they dont) Or that I’ll never earn enough to make it worthwhile.
so I hide instead. And I really do need to be earning.
please help!

Could you afford a PA or assistant to do the billing?

Try to get professional help regarding these limiting feelings stopping you from revelling in your expertise and the money that rolls in due to it. It should be a very enjoyable experience.

I agree annabalfour that it should be enjoyable. I know I have the skills, little things like getting confused by Facebook throw me for a loop, and waste a lot of time. A va, might well be the answer. Have also worked out I don’t like being alone, I like being in a team.

Not everyone is suited to being self-employed - if you can’t even manage the basics like invoicing and advertising, I’d look for an employee role instead.
