Mooncup cleaning question (separate toilet and bathroom)

I have searched but couldn’t find the most appropriate topic area for this question so forgive me if this isn’t it!!
I have just moved to a temporary rented place after splitting from my partner. One week in and I’ve just got my period and I exclusively use a mooncup/washable products and unfortunately in this flat the toilet is separate to the bathroom and has no sink (pet hate!!). Any advice on how to empty it and clean up without trailing between the loo and the bathroom sink in the next room? I have 2 young children so would rather work out how to manage cleaning it in the toilet cubicle if possible. I’m thinking a water jug or something like that but not sure how easy that’s going to be 🤨 So any tips would be appreciated!

I'd keep a squeeze bottle of soapy water and one of plain water in there and rinse/soap it over the loo and tip away and then same with the plain water.

Could you have a clean "spare" ready in the toilet and then clean the other one which then becomes the "spare"?

Or do what you do in public toilets where the sinks are usually separate from the toilets?

In public toilets or at work:
Wash your hands at the sink and then either

Use the Mooncup® Cleaning Pot and fill with some water, empty your Mooncup® into the toilet bowl, pop into the Mooncup® Cleaning Pot and gently shake. Rinse with a small amount of water and reinsert.

Take a small bottle of water into the toilet cubicle with your, empty your Mooncup® into the toilet bowl, rinse with a small amount of water and reinsert.
Wipe the Mooncup® with toilet paper and reinsert.

I've never seen this pot before! I'm going to buy it and try it out for travel

Having a spare could be one good option I hadn’t thought of, thank you! And after I wrote this post I realised it was probably just the same as using a public toilet, then realised that the only public toilets I regularly use are at work and I always now have access to one with a sink!
