Tired and hungover feeling all the time

Even when not drinking! I’m so lethargic, tired and headachey. I’ve tried cutting things out in my diet (eg careful with sugar or not drinking alcohol, which I did for 3 months) Nothing makes a difference! In fact having a glass of wine helps keep me awake a little longer when I do have it, otherwise I’m ready for bed at 4 or 5. For info im 44, average weight. Went to doctor a year ago and bloods were normal.

Just wanted to update to say the GP was amazing! She’s put me on HRT so am trying esteogen gel and progesterone capsules. If I don’t feel better, I’ll know it’s something else

That's great news. I hope you start feeling better soon. It would be good to know if it helps. You should know relatively quickly. 🙌

Thanks! She said to give it 6 weeks. Will happily update. I thought I’d have to fight but she was just brilliant

Great stuff OP. It took a good 8 weeks to settle for me and up to 12 weeks is normal apparently. It's made a world of difference to my symptoms

what was your kidney function on last blood test? That can sometimes be dropping but there is weird reluctance for medics to tell the patients at stage 1/2/3 disease. Often gets to a symptomatic stage before diagnosis. So worth looking at that and getting follow up blooods to look for changes.

Great to hear @Lottapianos- am hoping for a similar experience!

I wouldn’t know how to pick it out but everything was squarely in the middle of normal I think
