Where are your teenage daughters buying clothes

DD dresses a bit like I did in the 90s, big trousers and T-shirts. Loose jumpers.
Struggling to find things, T-shirts are fine, trousers are another issue. She doesn’t like jeans. We’ve had a few pairs of twill type trousers from H&M but there must be somewhere else.
Id like to take her out to shop for clothes but it’s so hard these days s

My DD wears similar clothes and buys them all from Shein, Pull & Bear, Bershka, or from the men's section in Jack & Jones.

PinkPonyClubber · 13/04/2025 16:35

I’m not keen on shein, actually not ordering online but that seems the only choice. Not heard of those, mens is okay for T-shirts but she’s not tall and men’s stuff just doesn’t work around her waist.

Hollister, Pull & Bear, H&M, charity shops. Hollister the definite favourite (mainly in the sales/vinted)

JaninaDuszejko · 13/04/2025 16:41

90% Vinted and charity shops. Lots of Hollister and Brandy Melville (the later of which I refuse to buy new, I do love Hollister though).

ETA: New Look and H&M both very popular.

Cider

Cedrabbage · 13/04/2025 16:45

Shein, sports direct, JD, zara. But yours sounds different. Try pull and bear, urban outfitters

Pigeonqueen · 13/04/2025 16:50

Lucy and yak for big baggy / wide trousers. Also h and m online (better than in store) and asos. Weirdly enough also white stuff although traditionally aimed at older women their trousers are very teen ish - nice floaty fabrics, wide legged etc.

troppibambini6 · 13/04/2025 17:42

Pull and bear, Stradivarius, Zara, adanola, des vu, lulu lemon, skims, brandy Melville, drama and sometimes h and m.
She 14.

Charity shops
Vinted
Zara
Urban Outfitters

Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky · 13/04/2025 18:11

With that description I would say urban outfitters. Make sure you sign up to mailing list though. It’s expensive but there seems to be an endless stream of 15/20% off days and sales.

keely79 · 13/04/2025 18:11

Urban outfitters, thrift stores, American Eagle when we are over in North America (may be worth keeping an eye out for their stuff on places like Vinted or Depop)

Flomingho · 13/04/2025 18:14

Shein, Stradivarius, H&M, Bershka and Zara seems to be the main places where my 15 yo DD shops.

PinkPonyClubber · 13/04/2025 18:34

I feel old that I haven’t heard of most of these places. I miss Geordie Jeans.
Charity shops where I live are awful, just lots of supermarket and shein stuff.

I was hoping there might be more high street so we could try things on, sad times. Saying that we have to travel 50 miles to get to a H&M

Bershka will have high street stores aswell as online and also Zara and Hollister.

Janedoe82 · 13/04/2025 18:40

Urban Outfitters, hollister, Shein, Hacoo.
