What's been your happiest moment of the week?

Feels like there's a lot of doom & gloom in the world at the mo... Sometimes it's nice to hear the good things that are happening in people's lives for balance 😊

My Dsis getting married

The cat running up to the breakfast bar, jumping on it and then giving me a head nuzzle just before I feed her in the morning. This makes me smile every time as she went missing, for nearly 2 months at the end of last year/start of this year, so I know how lucky I am to have her here again.

Reading my book, curled up on the sofa after a lovely meal cooked by DH and knowing I don’t have to go to work next week.

At 3pm yesterday afternoon I finished sanding the floor of my veeeery long sitting room.

These are all so lovely! That's filled my cup up a bit reading all your lovely moments over the week 🤍 how wonderful to share the little positives and joys of life

Getting a 1K refund on a credit card that has taken longer than it should have done! Yippee

Spending the day on Friday with other people from across the UK and the world who are also passionate about kids being able to cycle to school in a fun and joyful way.

I had my three honarary grandchildren over for an early birthday tea yesterday . They are the grandchildren of my late DP and their parents and I are all close. Ds2 was home so the house was utter bedlam but in the nicest way..
Today is my birthday and Mr and Mrs NDN are coming round. I've made chicken curry which is in the slow cooker. Also a chocolate chip cheesecake. Will make bombay potatoes later to go with Naan bread, Poppadoms and onion bhajias!!

I got a place on the Masters degree I applied for. Very excited!
