Usually scon but the rest of my family say scone//hone, so sometimes I just go with that. From East Anglia living in the southwest.

All the stuff about recent English pronunciation rules is irrelevant. Sorry, but it's true for England but not for Scotland.

Scone comes from a GAELIC word, 'sgonn'. Pronounced to rhyme with gone. First recorded in the 16th cent, so a pretty long pedigree.
