What's the stupidest thing you've done today??

I've just walked into my glass conservatory door. It's been up for years and years and I've never done that before! My nose hurts like hell and I'm going to have a nasty bruise.
Please share the stupidest things you've done today to help me feel better😀

Parked in the co-op car park for two hours with the window down.

Went to a meeting in London

Lived there for about 30 years - only left about two years ago

Got lost. Admittedly not an area I know well but I think I had my last meeting there in January.

Not only did I get lost, but I was circling the same area for 20 minutes trying to find it.

I feel like such a plum.

I sent a screenshot of someone's WhatsApp profile pic to another person saying 'Is this him??' Only I sent it back to the same person by mistake 😳😳😳 Some major backpedalling had to be done....

Reversed my car out of the garage and into my garage wall.

Oh there are so many, I am an idiot.

The latest one was earlier in B&Q. Ok, got my bits and went to the self serve thing. OMG I saw my mugshot in front of me on the screen and gave myself a hell of a fright. Anyway having gotten over that shock I got my items ready to scan. Waved the damn things over and back, up and down. Nothing. No beeps or anything. Then I got annoyed with these bloody self serve machines and had a loud rant at the screen. A staff member came over to help me get going. I had another rant to her about the bloody machines, I hate them, and why were they not scanning and beeping. She lifted up the hand held scanner beside me and you can guess the rest...... A very red face and "sorry" did feature a bit alright.

We are (temporarily) missing a tread in our stair…long story. Anyway, I absentmindedly forgot today and fell down the hole in the stairs and really hurt my elbow and bruised all my leg really badly and my back is twinging.
its incredibly painful and I am so annoyed at myself!

Had a cigarette for the first time in 3 years

Ate 6 cornettos in about 10 minutes flat. 😢

Ate a buttercream covered coffee and walnut cake, I am lactose intolerant. I then followed it up with a custard tart and a donught. If I am going to be sick all night it may as well be worth it.

If it is any consolation, I drove back from the tip to a roundabout near my house with the boot door open. I couldn't see from my seat and then someone beeped me on the roundabout to tell me. I had to pull over to shut it. My husband very kindly called me a fool 😂

Pulled a box awkwardly onto my foot, bending the toenail right back. It was agonising and is still throbbing now. Why wasn't I wearing my slippers? Gah...

I fell flat on my front walking along a pavement, and had to be picked up by some passersby. I now have grazed elbow and knee. I also squeezed sunscreen straight onto my skirt earlier.

I started swapping my winter clothes for summer. Clothes everywhere. I’m not doing this anymore. I think the right amount of clothes is the amount that fits comfortably in the available space. My drawers are rammed with one season’s worth. So I need to be ruthless. But I can’t even recycle the dress I bought 5 years ago which has never fitted me. Or the huge pile of leggings I got last year as my new go to wardrobe, only to find that my fanny needs to breathe. I’m going away tomorrow. This was so so stupid.

I opened the kitchen bin to put the wrapper from my sachet latte in but instead of just the wrapper I tipped the coffee in instead. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I then did the same again this morning with my porridge sachet😆 must keep away from the bin!

Few weeks ago I thought I saw my neighbour's little boy waving at me through their window (directly across from the front of my house) I was stood washing up looking out my window at the time so started waving back. Few minutes later I noticed it was a large plant in their window, I had been waving at a plant for ages.

Came out of living room, fell over the dog (he's fine- he thought it was a great game), bumped my nose and broke my glasses.
