Birthday party ideas for a 15 year old girl, please?

We’ve done it all - laser quest, bowling, pottery painting, escape rooms, cinema, chocolate making, cupcake decorating, the lot... can’t do water activities as her birthday is in spring so good weather not guaranteed. Not keen on falconry or llama walking (yes, we’ve got those here, too!)

Please tell me how you are celebrating your 15 year old girl’s birthday? It’s for about 10 girls.

Thanks in advance!

Do 15year old girls still want parties? My nieces usually want money and a trip to the city to spend the money maybe a nice restaurant thrown in!

Manicure
High ropes
Pizza making
Campfire

Why not ask her what she wants to do? If I recall mine wanted to do things like go to a proper restaurant ( ok local Chinese, but they did have tables with cloths on) with a few of her friends. They knew us there so were fine with it, I did check first.

For my daughters 15th she had a house party and most of them slept over. We did lots of food and they had made muaic playlists.

That’s what most of her friends do too but beware of alcohol!

Mine didn't have parties once they got into their teens, but I agree with pp - you need to ask her.
It's not like when they were 5 or 6 and you made the decisions.

We did an activity place, it had indoor curling, archery, bowling, an arcade etc. How about a crafting session, or owl or birds of prey day?

Thank you, everyone, for your helpful replies. I have of course asked DD and she is happy to do any activity as long as it’s with all her friends and not something we’ve already done.

You can do a Murder Mystery where they get the parts in advance to prepare.
I would have thought they’d all like a visit to a Mall and a meal, maybe a movie.
Other thoughts - pottery painting

Sleepover with nails/some sort of beauty treatment and takeaway food.

reluctantbrit · 09/04/2025 18:59

I would really push this into her direction, with 15 I wouldn't invest too much into parties anymore. For 10 teens, it will get expensive.

Movie or dancing with mocktails, pizza and nibbles and get parents to collect at 11pm.

Pottery or glass painting?

Get a mobile nainl technician/ beauty therapist in.. ( My daughter is one and often goes to teen girls parties to give them a manicure/ facial / eyebrow thread etc) depending on what the girls have agreed to with their parents.
Then do a buffet / pizza/ spring rolls/ samosas/ Chinese chicken wings / quiche / crisps etc
. Or order in food.

My DD is 14 soon and they were going to go to McDonald’s then the cinema but have now changed their minds because of the nice weather and are going for a picnic instead. We’re also going out for a family meal. I’ve left arrangements with her friends up to her really.
Most of her friends have done similar things, or a sleepover or for one friend they went out for afternoon tea
