Please help me find an alternative - Rosacea

I have been using Dermalex rosacea treament to help reduce the redness and it has been working really well. However, I have gone to order some more this evening and it seems as though this product is no longer available to buy online. (Unless I pay extremely inflated prices)

Could anyone please recommend an alternative?

I've attached a photo to show which Dermalex i'm using. I know MN are screening images so hopefully it will show up. 😊

Not sure this is helpful / what you’re asking for but I suffered with severe rosacea for years - in desperation after nothing my GP gave me helped, I got an online prescription for a cream with ivermectin in it. I applied a thin layer a few times and the difference has been phenomenal.

Years later, I am still on the same tube and just apply it once very so often when I think it might flare up but I would say now that I don’t have rosacea.

I also found lavender water really helped me but it was the cream that made all the difference- Soolantra was the brand name.

£55 for that cream

Oh wow thanks for the heads up that the cream has become so expensive, I wonder if it's being discontinued?

Unfortunately no other solutions here but hopefully following for other suggestions.

The first two listed ingredients in Dermalex Rosacea, which are usually the main active ingredients in any product, are Octinoxate, a UVB filter, and Avobenzone, a UVA filter. They are both commonly found in sunscreens.

Interesting that they seem to work for rosacea ...
You might try using a sunscreen that has those ingredients!

I was prescribed lymocycline for rosacea. It worked brilliantly- ask your GP.

I get Soolantra (Ivermectin cream)prescribed by my GP whenever my rosacea flares up - it’s pretty much sorted it out for months at a stretch.

I’m a Soolantra fan too, just ordered one tonight online (can never get a gp app but I have had it prescribed before) it’s £50. Tube lasts nearly a year.

I just started using skin+me. Been using the cream they prescribed for about 3 weeks and I can't believe the difference already. The active ingredients are Metronidazole and Niacinamide

Another vote for Soolantra - ten years and nothing helped. Cleared me up within two weeks. This was five years ago, and I haven’t had a problem since.
