Good Morning All! What's everyone doing today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. I got up to feed the cats since boy cat was mountaineering in the bedroom 🙄

I've refilled my hot water bottle & may well go back to sleep. We got in at about 12:45 this morning after yesterday's gig <yawn>.

I don't think we'll be doing much today, I feel like I'm coming down with something & the girls won't be up for hours! I might run a nice hot bath in a bit, but that'll be it.

Good morning @lucysmam and everyone. I hope all of you who feel under the weather today feel better later. I had a really good night's sleep for a change - not waking up until 8:40!

We did the things we (I) had planned for yesterday, plus we had a brief mooch through M&S food and T K Maxx homewares on the way home, so I was exhausted by then!

Today we don't have anything planned. It is the most beautiful morning which makes me feel good. We might do a little freezer reorganisation.... We did do a little yesterday... just taking out of the outside freezer some things I'm going to need next weekend when Mr Dilemma is away, but it would be a good idea to create some usable space for the orders arriving on Wednesday and Thursday. I've just realised that 'we' can't do that... It will have to be a Mr Dilemma job and he has been really good about doing what I have asked him to do so I will let him decide whether to do that today, or another day before Wednesday. If it's not done he will be really grumpy on Wednesday when it comes to putting things away.
It would be lovely to go to the beach in this wonderful sunny weather, but I know Mr Dilemma won't want to go because:-
It's the weekend and there will be loads of kids (yep, so?)
It's the holidays and there will be loads of kids (yep, so?)
It's too cold (it is certainly cooler today and quite breezy)
What would we do? (Just look at the sea, breath in the ozone, have an overpriced and delicious ice cream)
There won't be anywhere to park (yes there will, there always is)
There's too much to do here (nope, just some washing and sorting space in the freezer)
ad infinitum.... he's not keen on the beach, or kids!
We do go to the beach, but not very often and I'm not sure today is the right day.

I made some delicious freezer soup yesterday, some of which I will have for lunch. Mr Dilemma won't have any, despite tasting it yesterday and declaring it 'quite tasty'. He is funny about eating leftovers, whilst I don't like to waste anything. He does, however, make a really good roast dinner and will be cooking a pork loin joint with roast potatoes, cabbage and carrots this evening. Served with some of the apple sauce I made and froze last year. I make an even better roast dinner in my opinion, but he is very proud of his cooking so won't let me be involved in this evening's roast. I got a (bought) egg and potato tortilla out of the freezer yesterday so he can have that for lunch instead of freezer soup.

Good morning everyone, it’s a lovely day here again so I have my first load of washing already on the line and my bed covers in the washer.

I’ve no plans for the day really. Dd10 and her friend are up and about playing on her air track in the back garden, me and dh are rotting on the sofas in our pjs and dd17 and ds23 are both still asleep - ds came round last night to watch a film and decided to stay over which was nice.

I think it’ll be a day of chilling today and purposely doing very little.

Good morning all. I have a wonderful day exercising in the sunshine yesterday and have woken up this morning with a very sore leg which can’t bear weight. So that’s put paid to my plans for the day! I never expected my body to feel so much older in my 30s than my 20s. Makes me worry what’s to come!

I need to have a house day - laundry, clean the kitchen, do the bathroom etc. also have a mountain of online orders to package up and return, and might try to get some more stuff listed on Vinted.

Otherwise I’ve some life admin to do as I’m about to put my house on the market, and I’m away from next weekend so will start gathering things to pack etc.

all of which trying not to read my book, which has me gripped!!

Good morning! Sorry you’re not feeling great @lucysmam sounds like a chill out day is in order.
i was out last night and didn’t not appreciate my 6.30 alarm this morning to take ds2 to his early football match. My feet are still frozen and I’m huddled under a blanket in the sofa debating a little nap.
Dd1 has just arrived back from uni and gone straight to work. Dd2 is still in bed and we will be off to netball later.

Good late afternoon @lucysmam , it’s a beautiful sunny afternoon here and I’m being very lazy sitting in my ‘shed’, enjoying the peace and quiet.
We had a lovely dog walk this morning and I need to take them both out in a minute.
The washing has dried nicely so I will put it all away when I get back then pour a large glass of something cold…..
