Packing Cubes. Help?

We are off on a multi stop trip this summer, I'm so excited as we haven't been on holidays in years. I've been ordering bits here and there and I've just had some packing cubes delivered.
We are extremely limited on space as internal flights give a max of 15kg each in a bag with specified dimensions.

What, oh wise ones, is the best way to use these cubes? Do you tend to put say, knickers/socks in a cube and then trousers in another ? Or do you try to pack complete outfits in a cube??

As a rough guide, we spend 1 night in our arrival city, 2 nights in the next location, 1 night in the next location, 2 nights in another location, before spending 5 nights at a final beach location.

I would appreciate any wisdom, it's oddly a bit stressful, and i don't want to leave it all too late because the allowance is soooo tight.

Personally I have tops in one, trousers in another, undies in a third. If things are going to be worn again they go back in the correct cube. When touring I use my suitcase like a cabin trunk and never unpack.

I do the same and keep things in the correct cube. This helps with a capsule wardrobe too so mix and match everything rather than just an outfit.
have a spare one for dirty clothes too!

I have a two-compartment one which has underwear in one half, PJs in the other. One for t-shirts / tops and one for jeans. Chargers usually go in whichever one is least full

As above for a touring hol.

Thanks everyone! I had wondered about doing a cube for each destination (lots of varied sizes) but the point about re wearing things is a good one! I was also planning to put the clothes for my first two destinations in my hand luggage as I've a tight connection time in case my bag doesn't make it.

Also if anyone has done a safari/beach holiday then tell me how on earth you packed within the limits. Especially when I hear some of the lodges won't wash my underwear for cultural reasons apparently.

Surely you wash your own underwear if you can’t take enough clean undies every day? 😮

We just did a trip with 2 nights here, 3 nights there and so on and I used packing cubes but we had a larger baggage allowance.
I put the first 2 days worth of clothes into one cube (I bought compressions ones) and then sectioned the rest a bit like other pp have done. As our first destination had a +8 hour time difference and I knew we’d be jet lagged, I didn’t want to be sorting through stuff when we had an early start on our first morning.
I put a mixture of clothes in each cube although we had a bit of variety of temperatures, so had to carefully plan what clothing went into each cube.
I think it’s a good idea to put your first 2 days clothes into your hand luggage as you’ve mentioned.
We didn’t unpack properly for almost 3 weeks until we reached our final destination where we were for a week. We were able to get laundry done at most destinations and I packed a few empty cubes for dirty laundry that was going home with us.
