What to buy in French pharmacies

We are going to France and 14yo dd is most excited about.... nope, none of the sights. She wants to go shopping in French pharmacies.

Any tips on what products are cheaper or more exciting in France?

(for clarity, it's skincare and cosmetics, not medicines!)

why is your 14 year old wanting skincare shit? haven't you seen the reports about the damage they cause to young skin?

If I want to look in France for Cruelty Free+ not sold in China what do I look for? Are French toiletries using the Leaping Bunny symbol ?

Onctose cream for insect bites. Also excellent for rosacea but you’re not supposed to put it on your face. Cleared mine and didn’t do me any harm.
Another vote for the misting sprays.
Le petit Marseillaise hand soap, shower gel etc… especially in orange blossom.

Nuxe
Avene
Savon Marseille
Eborian cc
And lots, lots more. The big Auchan near Cherbourg has a massive toiletry section, but to me I'd need a whole day there.

One thing I bring back in buckets is Efferalgan effervescent paracetemol. I get it because it doesn't have caffeine and the fizzy stuff works quicker - well I think so!

I travel to France quite a lot for work and usually stock up on:

Bioderma (cleanser/micellar water used by make up artists)
Caudalie
Klorane dry shampoo
la Roche Posay
Nuxe body oil (gold one is nice)

There are usually also face masks and nice lip balms as well - not sure on brand!

Second soaps and shower gels from the supermarkets.

For a pp, Anthisan contains lanolin. Some of us are allergic to lanolin. I wondered for years why my bots got bigger and redder!

Ahem, for toddlers resistant to oral calpol, suppositories.

They’re overpriced and full of homeopathic nonsense.
