Can a carer/PA buy something from you

I’m selling a piece of furniture and my PA/carer would like to buy it from me

Is this in breach of the care act? Is this something that they are not allowed to do? Does anyone know?

I don't see why it would be. If it is something you want to sell anyway and your carer is happy to pay what you want for it what would be the problem?

The only issues could be if your carer is pressuring you to sell something you don't want to sell, or to sell it for less than you want for it. From what you have written that is not the case.

As long as you aren’t vulnerable from a financial perspective and they are paying what it’s worth

I don't see how. You're selling something, you told them so and they wanted to buy it at a price you find reasonable. It's not like a contract to tender where she's got an unfair advantage if you sold it to her before putting onto the open market? I guess if they were pressuring you to buy something off you that you didn't want to sell, for an unfair price, then that would be unethical.
