Best Bean to cup Coffee Machine?

That's it really. I currently use a Moka Pot and electric Milk Frother, but I'm toying with the idea of a machine that does the lot. I've looked at some options, there seem to be the very spendy variety which look rather intimidating. And then prices start coming down to about £150 (mostly for those on special offer). The cheaper ones don't seem to have such good reviews, but don't want to spend a fortune on one. Anyone got any recommendations?

Ds has a Smeg one......not too fiddly to use and easy to clean.

I’ve had a few true bean to cup machines and the problem with them is that they all have to deal with coffee grounds inside the machine. The good ones do this pretty well but not perfectly so inevitably you get a build up of old, damp grounds over time which sprouts mould and means the machine needs thorough cleaning - well beyond what the automatic cleaning cycle will tackle.

I’ve now got a Sage bambino plus with a separate grinder. It is a bit more of a faff to make a coffee, it not much now I’m used to it and no ground coffee is ever inside the machine so cleaning is simple. I’d recommend this over the Sage barista models simply because two more simple machines will likely outlast one more complex one and you get a much better quality grinder if you buy separately.

I am a coffee twat though and quite enjoy the whole ritual. If you just want to fill it up once a week and hit a button then bean to cup is the way to go.

I have that Smeg one in a brown colour, I really like it, I got mine in a sale for half price, it's very compact and easy to clean, bit pricey at full price but some colours are sometimes reduced. I have about 3 or 4 cups a day. I only wanted a small one as only me drinks coffee in our house.

Look on Ebay, DeLonghi have a shop where they sell refurbished models - in most cases they're as new, we've had our Autentica for 5 years now and it was half the price Amazon etc were charging

This is what I did and would do again.

I too have this set up as Im the only coffee drinker and with the beans I buy, I really enjoy my daily coffee

Its not perfect, I enjoy cappuccino , and the milk froth is never consistent, but the coffee pour is really good

De'Longhi hands down. The Rivelia model is amazing as it has 2 interchangeable hoppers.
