What can I do to pass the time? Got four weeks recovery

I’ve got a small procedure coming up that will require 4-6 weeks recovery time.

I am not massively into my phone or box-sets. They tend to make me a little depressed when I spend too much time on them.

Any ideas of what I can do to pass the time? I thought about learning something like crochet?

Certainly knitting or crochet. You don’t have to do anything complicated and there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube. You could get a kit- I think M&S do one, or NOTHS. That hs everything you need for a project in the pack.

How about a library visit and borrow some books, or buy a kindle?
i also shamelessly love kicking back with a good puzzle.

I think perhaps do some gardening now so you can enjoy it in the sunshine?

Tapestry kit. You can buy lovely ones, no previous skill needed really.

Meta quest 3. Theres lots you can do on one of those things. Including room sized jigsaws.

But youve already mentioned what you would quite like to do. If it's been an idle thought for a while. It's the perfect opportunity.

Audiobooks? Podcasts? Audible free trial? Jigsaws?

Lego! You can get some interesting sets and they are really mindful to do but not taxing.
