TeenToTwenties · 29/03/2025 14:58

Yes.

RandomMess · 29/03/2025 14:59

Yes 😭

NoWordForFluffy · 29/03/2025 14:59

It's in the calendar for tomorrow, not today, due to the time it happens.

CornishTeaTime · 29/03/2025 15:00

Bugger I had no idea, so they go forward we loose an hour.

They change at 01:00 GMT tomorrow morning.

ohnowwhatcanitbe · 29/03/2025 15:21

Yes, it is tomorrow - at 1am the clocks spring forwards to 2am just like that.

IntermittentFarting · 29/03/2025 15:24

Last Saturday of March spring forward; last Saturday of October fall back.

Sunday, not Saturday.

uncomfortablydumb60 · 29/03/2025 16:10

Yes. I only realised when a friend told me just now.
Mind you, I didn’t realise it was Mother’s Day either!

GrandHighPoohbah · 29/03/2025 16:15

Technically it's the early hours of Sunday morning, so for most people that means changing them before bed tonight.

JohnTheRevelator · 29/03/2025 16:37

Yes,they go forward at 1am Sunday (30th) morning. Thankfully most of the things I have clocks on do it automatically. Except for the bastard oven. 😂

Sunday, not Saturday.

Ha, you’re right, but in the olden days most of us put the clock back on Saturday night at bedtime, so we always thought of it as Saturday!

Ah yes, I must start checking the winding arbors shortly. I always start with the west wing, Poohbah.

vandelle · 29/03/2025 16:52

I still have the old fashioned plug in timers for the lamps. I've just gone around them all and changed the time. I always forget to do this, and it's like fairyland with all the lights coming on in broad daylight when I forget. Oh and the time on the cooker and microwave done also..

UpUpUpU · 29/03/2025 16:57

Yes, and I am on nights so don’t lose an hours sleep as I’ll be asleep all day Sunday

You mean, you don't employ the services of a specialist clock man?!

KittenPause · 29/03/2025 17:01

lose!!

Joystir59 · 29/03/2025 17:03

So when I wake up at 8am tomorrow it would have been 7am this morning?

Mokel · 29/03/2025 17:08

Yes they change tonight. Things like your phone, computer, tv receiver (Sky, VM), do change automatically. Clocks on walls, alarm clocks, non sync watches need to change manually.

The timer for hot water/heating changes automatically. It knows what day of the week it is, other than that. how? Went through the different screen displays once and don't remember seeing an actual date.

The clock in my car. Usually look at time on phone (in the cradle) or watch. One time I noticed my clock was an hour out and it was about 10 days before the clocks changed again.
