It might depend on the uni? I know a young man who has a 2:2 from Cambridge (Bio Chem) and he had no problem finding related work

Launder the degree by doing a masters? Get a merit (equivalent to a 2:1) from a better university, and job's a goodun

Don't you have to get a 2:1 to do a Masters'?

Most will take a 2:2, maybe not all the RGs, but rest will be ok. Ds ‘laundered’ his STEM 2:2 (great expression!) with an MSc and managed a distinction. Now in a tech grad scheme.

Something "high up" completely unexplainable in a lab! I'm definitely not smart enough to understand his work !
