Plus book, phone charger, wash bag? Or not? If not mayyybe but with things like that no way

Bodonka · 27/03/2025 12:19

Yeah, I’ve travelled with that sized bag many times for summery trips. Just pack ahead of time so it’s to a rush to figure out what to take out if there is too much. It’s a very strategic game!

Was stuff we will just use the hotels. I guess you mean shower get etc ? Phone charger won't take much room . There's going to be 5 bags like that in all . I just mentioned myself because my clothing will take the most room

This lot are the professionals. https://www.reddit.com/r/HerOneBag/ Lots of them fly RyanAir.

Blackcordoroys · 27/03/2025 12:21

I have face creams and hair potions and straighteners 😁 not just shower gel. But if not - yeah, maybe you could do it

DennisRoundThePost · 27/03/2025 12:21

I was just about to suggest either Reddit or YouTube for come pack with me for 5 days type content. Really good to see how people use the space.

xjox1983 · 27/03/2025 12:22

i have one of these bags
you surprisingly can fit a lot in them
so as long as you not taking many shoes
should be ok

WORKERbeen · 27/03/2025 12:22

I did a full week with the exact same sized bag, roundly take a bigger one as was staying in a VW camper when I got to my destination country. Where your bulkiest clothing to and from the airport etc and buy your toiletries when you arrive

minipie · 27/03/2025 12:25

Yes you can. I’ve done it and was surprised how much room I had left over. Shoes are bulkiest so wear any bulky shoes and pack only very flat shoes. And remember you will have to bring liquids in <100ml so you’ll need a small suncream for example. Also leave space for a small squishy handbag (fabric sling ones are ideal) as Ryanair won’t let you bring a separate one.

Oh I see. I don't have that stuff . Hair bands and a hair brush . That's as good as it gets for me.

I could.

Be prepared to use hotel soap to wash undies and socks

One pair of small spare flats, stuff a few pairs of socks in toes.

four pairs of your lightest knickers

One spare non-underwired bra.

2 pair light leggings/shorts/light cotton trousers.

three or four lightweight (probably polyester) tops

spare cardigan/sweater

one small tube concealer and a lipgloss

Wear bulky clothes and trainers and jacket on the flight, including a vest top under your clothes on the flight, you’ll sleep in that with knickers, or sleep naked.

Unbeleevable · 27/03/2025 12:29

If there’s 5 of you in a family: communal toothpaste and hairbrush . No need for separate stuff.

MattCauthon · 27/03/2025 12:30

Yes, it's doable but you have to be very intentional with your packing and think about what you need. You can't just toss stuff in!

LlynTegid · 27/03/2025 12:31

No idea. Though can understand why you ask the question, given that Ryanair or agency ground staff on their behalf have no discretion about bag sizes.

Yeah I was a bit worried about shoes. I'm thinking to wear trainers for travel and some light canvas type for when I'm there. I know sandles take less room. But I can't wear them.

I feel like i need a spirit level to make sure the case is dead flat 😅

Is there a huge price difference to pay for a 10kg bag?

If travelling with others using the minimum size, would it be worth it for one or two of you to pay for a bag and share the space?

Otherwise you will fit in a lot if you are ruthless. Try for non crushable fabric so you can jam it in. One pair of flats, a multi usb adaptor, just your phone, essential meds and minimal make up. That's me!

If we use the bag that I showed we don't have to put it through check in. Ds said its an arse to do check in so he wants to avoid it.

Vacuum pack underwear and swimwear. Buy toiletries at Boots airside (you can carry this on in addition to your under seat bag). Very easy as long as you plan outfits ahead of time

That's good to know does seem easier than checking in a case .

You don't have to check in a case if you pay for a wheelie size that goes in the overhead bin. You seem to be taking the small underseat size bag only, but you can also take the bigger one (55cm I think) on board and put it up in the compartment. So you can have both and no need to wait at the carousel at arrivals or queue for check in on departure either.

Am I missing something maybe?

Opps I looked again. If you want to taken larger case you have to pay for prority boarding which is between 16.00 and 36.00 pounds each way . I will think about it

Yes, I did say you would have to pay for it!

How many of you are travelling? If more than just you, you could buy even ONE overhead priority boarding case maybe? But if you're on your own I'd make do with what you've got. It's a good lesson in not overpacking anyway!

Have a nice trip.
