@semantlename you get 998 at work or school via a 999 TARGET.
It’s an odd word list as it focuses heavily on one specific meaning of TARGET and that context is hard to describe.

I had to laugh ... Just got round to doing last Saturday's The Times Quick Cryptic crossword (didn't have time earlier). The clue to 13 across was:

"harbour with a large entrance"

And yes, the answer was today's TARGET!

@BasilParsley and yet the definition word from the crossword clue is barely even hot.

@InMySpareTime the definition of the first word of the clue gives the first four letters of TARGET...

@InMySpareTime the initials of the third and fourth word give the final two letters...the final word is the hook...

@BasilParsley I got it first thing, was just commenting how the odd word list means that synonyms of the physical form of TARGET are oddly low scoring.

Only got it thanks to @BasilParsley crossword clue 🤣🤣 had almost all of the top 10
